The ACCA course or qualification is offered globally by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the UK, a global body for professional accountants. It is a fast-growing international accountancy organization with a flexible examination scheme, which makes the course more attractive. In order to achieve the ACCA Qualification, students have to:
- complete a maximum of 13 exams, depending on prior experience and qualifications
- complete an Ethics and Professional Skills module
- evidence three years of practical work experience within a relevant role.
This means that students can complete the ACCA Qualification in a minimum of three years.
The ACCA syllabus consists of 13 exams divided into 3 levels:
- Applied Knowledge – 3 exams
- Applied Skills – 6 exams
- Strategic Professional( Essentials and Options) – 2 Essential exams and 2 Options exams
