BTEC HND in Business Management

They are vocational higher education qualifications awarded by Pearson -Business & Technology Education Council (BTEC). While a degree helps you gain knowledge, HNCs and HNDs are designed to give you the skills to put that knowledge to effective use in a particular job. They are reputable qualifications that are highly valued by employers both in the UK and overseas, and can also count towards membership of professional bodies and other employer organizations.

The Pearson Level 5 HND qualification is a UK accredited course which is internationally recognized. The HND is a modular Business programme equivalent to the first two years of a degree and with one year of extra study at a UK University it can become a BA (Hons) Business Management Degree.  The Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Business is designed to address an increasing need for high quality professional education pathways at Levels 4 and 5, thereby providing students with a clear line of sight to employment or to progression to a degree at Level 6. Pearson BTEC Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Business Management is designed to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the business sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. The qualification aims to widen access to higher education and enhance the career prospects of those who undertake them. BTEC Higher Nationals offer a strong emphasis on practical skills development along with the development of essential knowledge and understanding in business sectors.
